Poster Presentation Guidelines
Abstract Submission
Topics: We encourage submitting original research in sleep medicine and sleep surgery and case reports.
Structure
Each Abstract Should Include the Following Structure, If Applicable:
Title
Content: The abstract’s content is limited to 1,700 characters, including spaces, and should be structured as follows:
- Goals: Recommended maximum of 250 characters, including spaces
- Material and Methods: Recommended maximum of 600 characters, including spaces
- Results: Recommended maximum of 600 characters, including spaces
- Conclusion: Recommended maximum of 250 characters, including spaces
Authors: Please list all authors in the correct order.
Institutions of All Authors: Provide complete details for all authors.
The abstract submission cannot include figures, tables, or graphics.
Poster
General Information
The poster should be both submitted as a PDF for digital presentation and printed for presentation in the exhibition hall.
Your poster will be displayed in the poster exhibition and accessible to all participants throughout the ESSA meeting.
You will be able to present the poster on Saturday.
Poster Design
Posters should be created in A0 portrait format: 118.9 cm x 84.1 cm (height x width).
Your poster should include the following content:
- Title, authors, and poster number
- Background/Aim
- Methods
- Results
- Discussion/Conclusion
You are free to design the poster creatively.
Please bring your printed poster to the ESSA meeting.
Poster Setup
Thursday, August 28, 2024 until 11:00.
Poster Session
The poster session will take place on Saturday, August 30, 2024. During this session, a digital version will be presented on the overhead projection, and the poster’s author(s) are invited to present their poster for 5 minutes, followed by a 5-minute discussion to answer any questions from participants.
Poster Removal
If participants want to keep their posters, we ask that they remove them on Saturday afternoon. All posters not removed by 18:00 will be disposed of.
